Over the decades,
Since we parted ways,
I often wonder,
Whether I know you,
Or I don’t,
How much I know you,
Or how little,
Although not important now,
As miles apart & blindfolded,
Sometimes we swim with the tide,
Sometimes against the flow,
Guided by the beats of a lone drummer,
Distant, and unseen,
To which our hearts beat,
Slowly at first,
Passionately thereafter,
As the storm on the horizon,
A speck little while ago,
Engulfs us ,
To end the confusion, forever,
Of whether we know each other
Or we don’t.
Of how much we know each other,
Or how little,
As for me the world shrinks,
To the size of your embrace,
Your  breasts rest on my chest,
I feel the throb of your heartbeat,
And the contour of your lips,
As they change,
To take the shape of my lips,
And your breath,
Warm and fragrant,
Becomes my lifeline……………
