Lovingly, the rising Sun embraces the petite Moon,
Like a beloved sweetheart,
Soaked in luster and innocence,
Ignoring the warts and blemishes.

Many years ago, the intense heat of our desire,
Melted the tenuous threads of our love,
Pushing us into separate orbits,
In search of new horizons.

Although, sometimes, you still brighten my dreams,
It is your sky,
My lost valentine, that shifted then,
And perhaps, mine too.

Never to cross againโฆโฆโฆ.
